Sun Valley

Rooted Plantlets
Acer rubrum 'Sun Valley'   |  Zone 4-7
A cross between Red Sunset and Autumn Flame by Denny Townsend at the U.S. National Arboretum tree improvement program. This cultivar is significant because of its potato leafhopper tolerance, excellent red fall color, but most of all for its superior round dense form and branch structure. This plant fills out perhaps the best of all the rubrums.
